Being the dork that I am, having never heard of that term before, I did a little googling... (yes, I do use google as a verb) And I discovered that the word liebster is actually German for friend, love, or dearest. How sweet! The goal of this award is to spotlight up-and-coming blogs with less than 200 followers.

What a fun idea! Guess taking three years of German came in handy for me today! ;) I'm definitely in the under 200 follower category. But, honestly, my followers are loyal and awesome, no matter how small in number they are. I had a friend who I see every week at my daughter's dance studio come up to me and say, "I just love your blog and have been meaning to tell you this." This is music to a bloggers ears.
